After a DIBBS award: what to do next
Turn the award into a clear fulfillment plan.

Review the award record
Retain the award document. Check the order and contract numbers, CLINs, NSNs, part numbers, quantities, unit prices, delivery schedule, ship-to information, and packaging requirements. Resolve questions against the award rather than assuming a standard requirement.
Plan inspection and acceptance
Identify the inspection and acceptance points in your contract before you source or ship. FAR 46.402 and 46.403 describe government quality assurance at source and destination. O2F records Destination or Origin; an internal O2F inspection does not replace a contract requirement for government inspection.
Start the order in O2F
Enter the intake in O2F or import the Excel template. Check the file before saving. Errors block the import; warnings do not. Keep the original order PDF with the intake. Confirmation creates the sales order, its award record, and the first Sales task. Check the contract, quantities, delivery date, and inspection and acceptance points.
Source, purchase, and receive
Create an RFQ, use the request text to contact suppliers, and record their responses. Compare cost, lead time, promised ship date, and terms. Send the proposed supplier for approval. Issue the purchase order from an approved selection. Follow its progress and receive the material by line, recording its condition on arrival.
Watch the next handoff
Assign the next department task, review due dates, and keep quality and shipment checks connected to the same order. O2F is not connected to DIBBS or NECO; you enter or import the award.
