Tracking DLA delivery dates

Work backward from the award schedule and see risk early.

01

Start with the contract schedule

Review the required delivery date and any modifications. Keep the date in the order record aligned with the contract documents. Raising a risk inside O2F does not amend the award or grant an extension.

02

Plan the departmental work

Standard task due dates are Sales 5, Purchasing 10, Inventory 5, Quality 3, Shipping 1, and Finance 1 business day. Use the workflow to identify handoffs, alongside the contract delivery schedule.

03

Read the delivery windows

The outlook separates overdue, 0-10, 11-20, 21-40, 41-60, and over-60-day orders. Review the risk score and top reason instead of relying on status alone.

04

Act on the top reason

An open NCR can raise risk at any time. Other signals include no purchase order within 30 days, material not received within 20 days, no release within 10 days, and no shipped shipment within 7 days.

05

Escalate concerns early

The 40-day alert notifies admins and operations managers. Review the exceptions list and heatmap in the delivery outlook, and pending WAWF work on the dashboard. Contact the contracting officer about contract questions and use the applicable modification process.
